Software Audit of Dealer Management System and suggesting the controls in the system.

Inventory Health Check

The inventory process was studied and control gaps were pointed out. The suggestions for improvement were also provided as a part of the consulting assignment. (Oracle 11i ERP system in use)

It provides total after- market support and offer complete business solutions for Cummins customers in India, Nepal & Bhutan. This assignment was done in association with Valueqb Consulting P.Ltd.

1. Scrutiny of invoicing issues - This involved studying and analyzing gaps in invoicing process starting from Sales order booking, master creations, accounting to invoicing and suggesting action plan for improvement to the company
2. Receivables monitoring - High percentage of receivables was the point of worry for the management. A strategy to improve the outstanding position involved studying the existing business pattern, operational issues, accounting issues, ERP system controls and the credit policy of the company. Suggestions for improvement were provided as a part of the assignment. (Oracle 11i ERP system in use)

IT System Health Check (ERP in InFor-LN; a BAAN product). The audit involved Auditing Network security issues, conducting vulnerability assessment and penetration tests. Data Center procedures, access controls etc. The audit was based on ISO 27001 guidelines.

A renowned newspaper group based in Pune:

Preparation of IT Security policy Document & providing training on the same. The work involved Review of business processes, Identifying risk areas, Documentation of IT Security Policy and training the users.

A leading cable manufacturing company based in Pune:

Review of access authorization in SAP system. The work involved studying business process flows, Identifying critical tasks and mapping the user accesses to menu options based on roles and responsibilities.
