Varsha has founded Check Point Infosys Pvt. Ltd. She has 8+ years of experience in Information System (IS) Audits and related IT security domains. She has a strong background and functional experience to support the IT Audit skills which result in delivering value added services to its clients. Her past experience includes working with a renowned multi-national company in Pune, India, at a senior position. In this role, Varsha’s responsibilities include MIS, Finance, Accounts, Audit, group company support, functional co-ordination in development of new systems etc. As an experienced IS Auditor, she has successfully handled IS Audit projects for banking, manufacturing and software sectors.

She is an active board member of ISACA, Pune, India Chapter since year 2001. Varsha is a qualified Cost Accountant (ICWA, Kolkatta, India). She holds international certification namely, CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor – Information Systems Audit and Control Association, USA). She has also completed BS7799 lead auditor’s certification program She is a member of institutes like ISACA, USA, Computer Society of India (CSI), Marattha Chamber Of Commerce, Pune, India. (MCCIA)

Bilvamangal Bhide

Bilvamangal is one of the founder members of Check Point. He advices Check Point on Financial, Legal and Tax matters. He has 20+ years of industrial experience as Direct Tax professional. His current responsibility as Group Controller Taxation includes tax planning for all the group companies of a Pune based company mainly engaged in manufacturing of life saving vaccines and medicines.

His past experience includes working with renowned manufacturing groups from Mumbai and Pune in the field of Direct Taxes. Bilvamangal is a Chartered Accountant by profession (ACA, New Delhi, India)

Vinita Apte

Director

Vinita advices Check Point on Technical Security issues. Her current responsibilities as a member of Corporate IT Security Group of US based manufacturing company include implementation of identity product in the entire group involving access control, access reviews and password management, She is responsible for Information Security covering Creation of policies, procedures, security audits, security reviews of IT projects, vulnerability management etc.

Vinita holds BE degree (Bachelor of Engineering) from Cummins College of Engineering Pune, India; with specialization in Information Technology. She has done her master’s from Purdue University, USA in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The thesis was on intrusion detection in VoIP Networks.
